This is a life size re-creation of an authentic village outpost circa the 1860's, complete with buildings, streets, furnishings, and local actors serving as real life villagers. It is a terrific place to explore with the family, as there are many hands on opportunities as well as animals, examples of typical village life, and much more.
Flying in to Toronto is easy via Pearson International Airport, located just outside the city proper. Most major international air carriers offer service into this facility, many with direct flights from major cities in Europe, Asia, and the Near East. A smaller airport, Toronto City Centre Airport, receives a handful of international flights from cities in the northeast part of the United States, but most of its traffic is regional or connecting to other parts of Canada.
